How exactly does one qualify for LGBTQ+ recruiting?

I'm speaking in hypotheticals here: but say I'm a straight male and decide to apply to this program, how exactly are they going to vet if I'm LGBTQ+? In theory I could just swing my hips as I'm walking towards the interview and throw on some eyeliner. The only drawback is my voice is insanely deep. Again speaking in hypotheticals here.

Funniest

I wouldn't worry about it while you're recruiting. However, if you receive an offer, the background check firm will reach out to you to coordinate a time for you to come by their offices and **** some **** so they can sign off on your sexuality.

Controversial

Lucky for you, race, gender, and sexuality are all social constructs according to modern leftist ideology.  You can be whatever you want to be. I for one am a black lesbian gender fluid individual.  I had all the BBs all over me.  Lol at identifying as a straight white male in 2020 for recruiting.

A little off-topic but am curious. Do you believe that trans surgery should be made illegal or do you think that it should be legal but we still make people with d*cks identify as girls and vice versa?

Knew a white guy from a non-target who did this and got an internship at Goldman LMAOOO. Didn't get the FT offer but still fucking funny to me. Its funny because he told me how bad he had to hide it, because he was invited to so many events on LGBTQ 😂. This post cracked me up because it brought back the memory haha. I can't imagine being in that position. If you slip up once and they find you out, you'll be blacklisted from everything Finance.

A couple of years ago when I was applying to GS, it must have been an error in their system but when I selected White, Male, and Heterosexual it would kick me out of the application right away. Almost forced me to select something else, and got to thinking how could someone prove they were not say, bisexual. The things we will do for a job lol

Few players recall big pots they have won, strange as it seems, but every player can remember with remarkable accuracy the outstanding tough beats of his career.

I would go for it. It is a big competitive advantage and can't be verified. Attend the LGBTQP+ event and lie your ass off.

I have a friend who did it for B-School and its going pretty well for him so far. Lol hes a straight white dude who is just living normally but applied LGBTQP+ and got into a school his GMAT was 30 points under the average. Its a T15 but he had a 670/680 I think. I still laugh so hard when I think about it.

Also if they see you with girls just say you are bi. Easy.

Shame on all the people who are making fun of being part of LGBT+ community and joking about the " sucking a d**k to get it in". The toxicity of  "masculinity" and opportunism showed in this thread made me sick!!!!

being a  LGBT+ candidate during recruiting does not mean he/she/they needs to behave any certain stereotypes that all you pathetic "white straight men" regard!

man it's all conditioning to end up in the shit show america is now...americans care more about owning machine guns or being able to identify as a gay sandwich than their own fucking tax rates hahah of course they are the dumbest people in the world - dividing a population (extreme partisanship) makes it much easier to control. Now go back to listening to your politicians bullshit

(an ivy league degree doesn't necessarily equate to being "well-educated" this statement applies to all americans)

As a gay guy who doesn't fall into any of the purported stereotypes listed in this cesspool of a thread, I can't say I've ever been more disillusioned or disgusted by prospects and full-time employees, including the very problematic VP in this thread. I understand this is a more conservative field than others, but the levels of ignorance, manipulation, and broken ethics by people in this thread are astounding.

Throw MS at me, but if you lie about how you identify––taking advantage of a minority community––for a job, you are scum.

can u enlighten us on how to **** some ****, might help some prospects get a job

Wow, I'm sure your firm must love you. You sound like an HR nightmare buddy. It's a wonder you made VP in any shop.

I know I'll have to deal with people like you all the time in this line of work, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. Have fun being a conservative keyboard warrior...I just hope no one at your firm ever ties half of your comments to you. It would be unfortunate to get blackballed from finance only as a VP.
