Be lowkey

Why?
People are jealous and wish negative on those that are succeeding. Don’t reveal your cards to other people. The people you care about the most will know what you’re up to. No one else needs to know. For what? No reason whatsoever. My mentor that owns his time and does whatever the fuck he wants is the most lowkey person I know. It’s a recurring theme. Many millionaires are lowkey asf.

Can't agree more. Funny to see those people who post their offer letter with mosaic on the salary. I mean, I can easily search on glassdoor with your offer job title and company to know your salary. It's just like being naked in the public and so many people are willing to be naked.

My uncle actually does it best. Whenever someone (non-family) asks how his business is doing (he is an entrepreneur), he'll say it's "OK" or "tough" or "business isn't like what it used to be".

Mind you, this is the same guy that upgrades his Lexus every 3 years, lives in a 8,000 SF pent house in the sky, and donates 6 figures to politicians on both sides.

The question is whether that low-key attitude is a choice or a way of living/thinking. Many successful people are simply cut that way, and don't define themselves by the standards of money and perceived social status. A forced low-key personality (e.g. someone who isn't necessarily so trimmed), may probably yield to a deficit in fulfilment, as his/her true definition of acknowledgement are unsatisfied.

It’s a way of thinking anyone can adopt. Just because you have the want of satisfaction doesn’t mean you’re a slave to that. You can break out of that mold and change your way of thinking. That’s the point of adopting successful mindsets. Out with the old you and the New you grows into something better. Plus the need to feel satisfaction are emotions. If you control that urge of satisfaction you control one aspect of your emotions. Once you control your emotions the outcomes are exponentially better. Anger, jealousy, etc.
