Offer Withdrawn?

HELP! i accepted an offer with a BB for a SA position. out of pure luck i was extended an offer despite my very low GPA (think below 2.9). nobody asked for my CGPA and my major GPA is good. we just got emails from HR saying we would be contacted in a few weeks for pre processing appts and paperwork. does this mean they will ask for a transcript? and is there a chance they will rescind the offer if they see my transcript? i haven't lied about anything but i am having a hard time believing that i was able to slip through the cracks so easily. im losing sleep over this.

i listed my major gpa on my school's career website but it was under the major gpa spot and i left the cgpa spot blank so no lies

Usually when they have a spot for CGPA that means they want it...but since you already interviewed and got an offer I doubt it is an issue. However, if they have explicitly stated that they have a cutoff of 3.0 or something then obviously it might be a problem if they find out.

Only reason it may be a problem is if there is a standard cutoff for CGPA. Either way, if you really didn't lie about it and they bring it up, just be honest about what happened.

Employment is "at will," e.g. they can pretty much do anything they want (and so can you). My best friend in college got an offer to intern at a very prestigious sports agency (through a connection) and once they looked at this grades, around a 2.8, they rescinded the offer. I don't see why a bank would be any different, especially in this environment.
