Transfer student- will I need to submit both transcripts?
I transferred after my freshman year. I'm planning on leaving my first school off the resume (it's a small non-target on the west coast, you've never heard of it)
My current school's transcript lists the credits I got from my first school, though it doesn't list any grades or GPA, just the credits that got transferred over.
I'm hoping I only will have to submit my current school's transcript. If I have to submit my first school's transcript they will see I have a W in my freshman first semester. I also have a W at my new school for my first semester there, so two Ws total (but they'll only see one from my new school on my new school's transcript) I know it's not a big deal either way, but I'd rather have them not see that.
Is it likely that I will be asked to submit both transcripts?
I only submitted my new school's transcript when asked for one (unofficial).
Once you transfer, your former school becomes erroneous.
It probably won't matter at all, don't stress.
To a job, only the degree awarding school. To Business/Law/Medical/Graduate school, every undergraduate institution you attended.
