On campus interview was with two senior executives, mostly behavioral but some "technical" on how to think about certain programs and campaigns they've run. Got the offer promptly afterward.

It was definitely a welcoming interview, two 30-minute Zoom session with firm's director of finance and another manger. They were both friendly and questions were case-based. For example, "if we are you create a new product, what are the factors you would consider." The interview scheduling def took a while, around 3-weeks of complete silence in the HR end.

I applied for a finance position there since my undergraduate is finance related, but I received an email asking me to interview for an accounting associate position. Felt it was weird since that is not my degree, but thought I would interview nonetheless.

Had a zoom meeting with 3 people - two of the three seemed completely uninterested, but enjoyed the conversation with the one who was interested. No real technical questions, just behavioral.

There was no real difficult part the interview. The must unexpected question was probably just generic equity questions about my current position. I currently work as an equity analyst, but the position had nothing to do with equity research.

I applied online and received an email from HR two weeks later asking to set up a time for a video interview. I was interviewed by 2 non-HR employees (MD and a Senior Associate) who worked within the finance functions. A week after the interview, the senior associate called me and told me I had received an offer.
Interview Questions
The case was a surprise but relatively easy. It required just explaining a certain valuation method (DCF & NPV) and why a company might want to do an acquisition even if the NPV was negative or zero. Beyond that, a majority of the questions were behavioral and specific, such as: tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult team member, What was a time when you had to make a difficult decision, What kind of role do you often play in a group, How would your colleagues/boss describe you?

I did researches before I went in so nothing really surprising. Ask about pricing strategies and new product launch strategies. Typical behavior questions with why Pepsi questions. Work with ambiguous information, lead a team or lead a project. For the case interview, How would you evaluate a new product launch strategies. Showed me short financial statement exhibits and asked me to calculate some numbers. They have a question lists and metrics to record your responses so it is not just based on your first or second impression.
