1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
In my first interview with Ares I was asked a number of behavioral questions (think why Ares, resume walkthrough, why PE, etc.) and then headed straight into technicals. Most were conceptual in thinking about what makes a good business, what makes a good investment for specific types of investors, how to value investments and then specific technical questions that you'd see in the guides.
