Interview
Pretty standard with other T2 interview processes. 2 rounds, Behavioral & Case in the first and 2 Cases and a Behavioral with a partner in the 2nd. Kearney cares a lot about cultural fit, so I'd say they weigh the behavioral 50/50 like McKinsey does. Case difficulty standard with other firms, perhaps a little more analytical.

I appliede for full-time busniess analyst in Great China office. The process can be divided into pre-talk interview, round 1 interview (2 back-back 45-min interviews by managers) and final round interivew (2 back-back 45-min interviews by principal or partner).
Interview Questions
There are many non-typlical cases during real interview which is totally different from what we practiced in the mock interview. For example, in the final round, the interviewer asked me to display my underlying logic instead of just going through my structure.

I did an interview for a Research Analyst Intern position at Kearney in Seoul back in 2020 winter. The interview was comprised of one phone call interview with the Senior Consultant who asked questions about my resume and conducted a small case study. The questions about my resume invovled how did you conduct an interview with a professional back when you were interning at firm X? Some questions were based on case competitions. What thought process did you use when evaluating a private company with no financial data?

The second interview involved interviewing with a Manager and a Senior Consultant who interviewed me for the first round. The interview was more based on competency-based such as what are your strengths and weaknesses? Why do you want to work in consulting?

The overall interview process was smooth and the interviewers were super friendly overall. Definitely a positive experience.
Interview Questions
The most unexpected part of the interview was that the interviewer wanted to know more about my case competition rather than my work experience in consulting.

Interview
I applied online and was invited to interview remotely via Skype as I was present in a different country tha
First Round had 2 sub-rounds -
- Case Interview : The interviewer was levelled at case leader and dived straight into two case interviews - one qualitative and one numerical. The qualitative case was related to business expansion efforts of a Telecom company and probed me more on my engineering education than my work experience. The numerical case was pretty straightforward
- Behavioural interview: Both I and the interviewer could have done better. While I was under-prepared, I did share real-life examples of how I handled/reacted to specific situations. However the interviewer wanted to hear something different and kept interrupting me.

Post the behavioural interview, I was informed that my candidature wasnt moving forward. No feedback was provided on following-up
