Investment Banking Analyst

Barclays came on campus, phone interviews, up to NYC for group rounds and then the following day a superday. The process was standard with most other investment banks, but Barclays focuses more on culture and fit, so there were more behaviorals and less technicals than competitors. As far as the people, the enviornment seems more teamwork oriented than other IBs I've interviewed with.

As far as questions specifically, know the following:
- Basic Vault guides - LBO, 4 ways to value company, 3 financial statements
- Know some recent dealbook deals
- Be up on markets, you may get a capital markets banker
- Know why Barclays, why IB, why NYC well
- Have something to say specifically about the company culture, people you've met, management etc.
