First round was a hirevue with behavioral questions, asking why BP and why energy.

The second round was a 9 hour virtual interview session that consisted of two case studies, a trading simulation, and a group exercise, each lasting an hour long. There were multiple breaks in between. The case studies were looking at a specific commodity and various supply and demand factors that impacted both the price and quantity of said commodity. The trading simulation looked at a consecutive spread of a commodity, and you had to either buy or sell the spread based on news coming out.

Interview
There's 2 sections. First one is a test/case study with 3 parts. Don't rly need to know anything in advance but just make sure you read the question fully lol. They give like 7 minutes of prep time before you answer so try to write out the answer first before telling the interviewer your answer. Like the answer is not written, you have to discuss with the interviewer. 2nd part of the interview is asking your motivation for applying. They'll ask like what do you know about bp, what you know about supply and trading etc
Interview Questions
How much do you know about BP?
Why physical instead of paper trading?
How do you deal with conflicts?
How do you view yourself?
The case study which ask you to decide the exploration plan the company should invest, one is high risk high return but will only get the return after a few years time, the other one will be the low risk and low return. I am asked to evaluate the advantages, disadvantages, concern, things to consider and dangers between these two plan. And there will be one more case study.

Interview
I applied for this position through the on-campus recruiting. The first round is a two-part online assessment, the second round is a video interview, the third round is skype, and the final round is super day.
Interview Questions
They asked me a real-life case related to oil and gas industry for one hour, one-on-one case, including scenarios, conceptual, and calculations. You would have time to read the instructions, and then they gave you some time to work on your own, and later, you need to explain the answers and the rationale behind this question. It is very likely a management consulting case, but longer and more detailed. They called this an exercise, although it was challenging, it was very interesting as well. They also gave you hints.
