Applied online via their application process. Followed up with a very brief interest about 3 weeks after applying (this organization seems to move quite slow when it comes to recruiting). A few days after that I actually was notified I passed the basic résumé review, and was given a time for a phone screen. This consisted of 'walk me through your résumé,' my experience, and why CBRE - a basic HR phone screen. About 6 weeks after that I was notified that the LA position I was not chosen to advance for, but the NY office wanted to move me forward to the next round. I met with a recent graduate of the program, he spoke to me about his experiences in it, and why it is a valuable investment. After that some basis HR type questions were asked, again along with a 'walk me through your résumé,' question. After those questions I was asked in depth about my work experience. It was a pleasant interview, I came away thinking I aced it, the interviewer even mentioned he was going to speak very highly of me to his managers as well.
