Interview
Was reached out to by a recruiter via linkedin. Not sure if there is usually an online assessment but there was not one for me. 4 rounds of virtual interviews before being invited to onsite. Lots of formal statistics/probability question, i.e. asking a lot about random variables from such and such type of distribution. Very typical for quant interviews I suppose but much less brainteasers/probability style questions than say Jane Street. Mostly interview was about things on my CV, and you can tell that throughout the interview they are doing legitimacy checks to make sure you are capable of doing everything you have listed. In my case this was machine learning/time series analysis.
Interview Questions

Interview
There were 3 rounds then a "fragmented superday" consisting of 2 days of 2 45 minute intervals. Interviews often began with behavioural and a deeper dive into your resume, then many market knowledge (pitching stock), volatility estimate (how would you calculate volatility for this stock/security if xyz information wasn't present), as well as brain teasers and EV/Probability questions. They were comparatively less quantitative than what I would assume for a quant trading role.

Interview
Recruiter set me up with of the research process team, had a 30 minute zoom interview. Was kind of awkward as he did not ask me virtually any questions except for "what do you want to do". Essentially the role was not a good fit for me so I did not move forward in the interview process.
Interview Questions
Probably "what do you want to do?" as the interviewer was very blunt and essentially asked no questions beside that one.

Interview Questions
There are 100 prisoners, and a room with a lightbulb. Prisoners get randomly called into the room with the lightbulb and can either turn it on or off. The state of the lightbulb is preserved when the prisoner leaves the room. Every time a prisoner leaves the room, they are asked "Has every prisoner entered this room?" If the prisoner correctly answers "yes," all of the prisoners go free. However, if any prisoner gives the incorrect response, they all fail. The prisoners can communicate before the game begins to devise a strategy, but they are not allowed to communicate once the game begins. Only the prisoner that gets called into the room knows that he got called into the room (i.e. no additional information is given except for the state of the light in the room). Come up with a strategy to guarantee that all prisoners are set free.
