Offer from a group at a BB with no deal flow (London) - what do I do?

I finish my studies at the end of the year and have an offer for January 2021 from a group at a lower BB that has almost non-existent deal flow (no closed M&A deal in a 1+ year). This is likely to continue.

My first preference would be to apply for FT roles - however, reading comments from other threads, spots are extremely limited / non-existent.

Therefore, if I want to switch banks, the only option seems to be another off-cycle internship in 2021. Is it worth giving up a BB offer if I secure another off-cycle internship in this economic climate? Or should I ride it out and transfer teams / lateral after a while?

Hey Prospect in IB - Ind, I'm here because nobody responded to this thread after a few days...maybe one of these resources will help you:

Wouldnt risk going for an Off Cycle right now, chances are classes will shrink and make it much more difficult to recruit or get FT offers if this summer banks decide to give massive offers as they dont know who are they hiring.

Having a BB offer will let you lateral in 1y once or 3y so should not be a problem
