Interview
Firstly a very simple phone interview with the recruiter, after which I was put forward to the head of the group I interviewed for, which was again a very easy non-technical Interview. Then 5 Interviews with the team I was interviewing with (saw each team member on the same day): this day was more technical but nothing too bad - just know about the group, their deals, basic accounting & finance.
Interview Questions
1. Most difficult questions were regarding my experience (know your CV). I had participated in my student investment club, and so was asked about the club: how it was structured, if it was real money, what the process for joining was, etc.
So I had to talk about some stocks I pitched to our fund (and was asked many questions about the process here - describing the content of pitches, technical Vs fundamental analysis and such - not it was an ECM position so an interest in equities was important). I was asked in detail about the sectors I pitched stocks for, so if you have similar experiences give yourself a recap.

2. Role play: A client is thinking of going public but concerned about regulation, what do you advise.
