Group Interview
Interview
Had 2 rounds of interviews with them pretty close together. First round interview was conducted by an Analyst and Associate on two different groups. The questions consisted of behavioural, technical, and the general get to know you type of questions. The technicals seemed to mostly be accounting focused. The interviewers were very friendly and encouraging when it came to the technicals. Second round interview was a few days later. Two interviewers again — one Analyst and one VP. It was 1 hour long, with 2 back-to-back 30 minute interview slots and a 10 minute break in between. The first half was all behavioural and second half was technical. Many of the behavioural questions were scenario type/“tell me about a time” type of questions. The second half was all technical. These were more valuation focused or scenario based in relation to valuation. Lots of questions were straight out of BIWS or variations. Heard back 2-3 weeks later.

About a month after applying I was contacted by HR for screening. The first round was a week after. I was interviewed by three associates on the team. This round was very technical heavy and then some fit questions at the end.
