First round consisted of 2 zoom interviews with an analyst and an associate, which consisted of 50% technicals and 50% behaviorals. Moved straight to super-day afterwards. Flew out to SF and interviewed with a VP, 2 Directors, and a Senior MD. Every single person I spoke with was laid back and very kind. When I didn't know a technical, they guided me to the answer through a series of questions.

The first round was a one-on-one interview with an analyst that was half behavioral and half technical in content. In that interview, they are mainly checking to see if you are technically sound and have good reasoning for why you want to do healthcare/tech banking. I had three interviews in my superday, where it was one analyst, one associate, and one MD. This interview was quite technical and somewhat advanced, and they are really looking for an interest and an understanding of the industry you are interviewing for.

Interview
Connected with the team via an on-campus career fair and learnt about their equity research fellowship program. An HR called me around 1 month later for a general screening and got a writing test later. A trading tick is given to me (a clinical stage biotech company) with some directions. Essentially, I was asked to wrote a report that includes science of their pipeline, competitiveness of the pipeline, revenue projections and a rating. Beyond what they asked for, I did a 3-statements modeling and DCF valuation to support my buy rating for that name I was provided. Even though I did not submit my model excel file. 48 hours was the time limit. An I did not hear back from them thereafter, assuming it is a no offer.
Interview Questions
Writing a whole report for a position designed for someone from science background with no actual ER experience is quite difficult
