Interview process was very long but straightforward. It consisted of 9 rounds of 30 minute interviews. Only two of the interviews were technical. The majority of questions asked were situational judgment questions as the team wanted someone capable of being an effective team player and getting along well with the team. At this level of experience, academic credentials and past work experience do most of the talking and there is not much to lie about. As a result, it comes down to personality fit and eagerness. Overall, the interview process was easy, but Blackstone itself came across very corporate.
Interview Questions
No difficult or unexpected interview questions. Everything was quite standard. I was not expecting they would focus so much on cultural fit that technical know-how.

Recruited into Blackstone from Sophomore Diversity Program. Had to check off which groups I was interested in chatting with and got matched based on that. Had to interview with 4 teams, made it to 2 final rounds and received one offer. I'd recommend you study general real estate interview questions, and master your elevator pitch. Also know a lot about the people you are talking to because that makes you all the more impressive. From working there, I'd say the culture is not for everyone and sometimes it may feel like its this impressive place but you get in there and its mediocre people that just have an impressive branding and checkbox invest.
