The second round was behavioral to gauge cultural fit, and a lot of the time was spent asking questions about Trillium.
Interview Questions
Nothing particularly challenging. Know what the indices are trading at, as well as ticker symbols of stocks in your favorite industry. Be prepared to answer many simple arithmetic questions quickly.

Interview
Several rounds of math tests led to an in-person interview, which began with 2 more math tests. The interviewer timed and watched while I completed them.

Afterwards, we just chatted about the market and prop trading in general. Nice guy.
Interview Questions
Nothing surprising or unexpected. The most "difficult" question was when the interviewer asked me to describe my trading experiences. That was the most I had to think during the whole process since market news and major indexes can be quickly memorized with a five minute glance before the interview. Being a college student, I didn't know if I should boast a bit and get destroyed or just be honest with whatever elementary exposure I have to trading.

Why prop trading? What are your experiences - personal and professional?

Interview Questions
Why Trading? Why Trillium? How did you hear about us? Do you know anyone here? (Behavioral-esque from HR)

Why Trading? I gave a pretty generic answer and explained how I wanted to do something different from my previous experience on my resume. Why Trillium? I answered that I wanted a Trading Internship in NY as a followup to the Why Trading question since I'm around the area and I brought up how I saw Trillium had great reviews on WSO (lol)

What are the major indices at (Dow, S&P, Nasdaq)?
They are listed online and can be found pretty readily on Google

Interview
The interview process first consisted of an on-campus process. The first round has a set of mini quizzes focused on the markets and basic math. Second round interviews consisted of a 1-on-1 discussion with the head trader of why you want to be in prop trading, and what questions you would ask traders on the floor. After this discussion, you get to sit with a trader on a floor and ask him or her questions. Note that they do not pay for your trip to get to the New York office.
Interview Questions
These following questions are regarding the mini exams in the first round. The most difficult interview questions include remembering what is the values on the stock market indices. Other questions include expected value questions and what is happening in the markets. The second rounds involve talking to the head trader. The head trader would ask how you would think about going into a trade (as in why you would go in a long or short position). In addition, the head trader asks what other positions you are applying for during your internship search.

Interview
Interviewed for a trading role this past year. Sat down for a first-round with the head of HR and took a math assessment to exhibit behavior under pressure. As with all prop shops, I have to imagine that working there is both rewarding and taxing, especially considering that they offer a low base salary (barely livable for NYC). However, for those of strong resolve or savant-like acumen, this could prove to be a lucrative endeavor. Also refreshing to see a mid-tier prop shop that doesn't require capital up front.
Interview Questions
a) "A successful trader reacts well under pressure and thinks independently. Give me an example of a time you exemplified those two attributes."
Surprisingly enough, I was unprepared for this question. Definitely a must if you're going to have a successful trading career.

b) "List as many tickers as you can think of as quickly as possible."
While I had accumulated deep knowledge on a handful of securities for the interview, it appeared as though Trillium wanted more of a top-down approach to things, but that could just be my read.

The Director of HR gave me a 2 minute 16 question math test, then a 5 minute test designed to see how I react under pressure.
Interview Questions
The most difficult question I expected was: what is a stock you have been following?
What is that stock trading at right now?
I was following a biotech and didn't really expect him to ask that question because I hadn't been following it religiously, thus I got the "what is it trading at now?" question incorrect. Thus I got it incorrect. I also couldn't comprehend a word problem because I skipped over part of the text, making the question unsolvable. The math test wasn't difficult at all though. , The most difficult question I expected was: what is a stock you have been following?
