Loan Originations Associate at Wells Fargo Capital Finance

I was referred to interview for the Loan Originations Associate (LOA) role at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. The interview questions were very basic aimed at understanding who I am, my experience and achievements, and why I'm interested in the role. It was 3 rounds of interviews with the first one by phone with the MD, second in person with Business Development Officer (BDO), and third in person with both the MD and BDO. The team is comprised of MD, BDO, Direct Loan Originator (DLO), and LOA. The interview process was very smooth and easy. The team seemed very knowledgable and interested in developing talented associates.

- Tell me about deals you've worked on
- Tell me about a situation where you had a lot to do and deadlines to meet and how did you manage through it
- What would you do during down time if deal flow isn't enough to keep you busy all the time
- How long do you expect to be in this role
- What is something outside of your role that you have achieved that helped you grow

- Express genuine interest and why
- Explain how you are eager to become the best associate they have ever had and how
- Understand the types of deals they work on
