Credit

Hello all,
I have aspirations of working in a hedge fund on the credit side, and I know you have to start as an analyst of credit.

The issue I am having is that I see two types of credit analysts, and it is confusing me.

One side is loan approval, and the other side is analyzing corporate bonds.

Are these the same thing, and if not, how do I distinguish the two on a job search?

ANY ANSWERS HELP!

I dont know where you are going with this but I am not entitled and no one owes me anything. I was trying to help you by asking if you have the right skillset for the role.. ie are you still in college? in US? etc.

From your original post it seems like you arent doing the homework and relying on ppl here to answer your “basic” qs.

I am in college, proper certifications, tried googling and it gave me the same BS. “Analyze credit is the role.” I don’t get it

They are not. I’ll let you figure out how they’re different.

Also, using your real name & being an entitled ass online usually doesn’t bode well.
