they were for 2022 starters. unsure about 2023 but i dont see a reason why it would change
You mean to say that they sponsored interns in 2022?
I need your suggestions for formatting and content of this CV
Also, do you think it is a good idea to move the work experience to the top and move education to a lower part of the CV in order to make my banking experience the first thing that is seen on the CV? Or is it safer to stick to the conventional format of listing the education first (could deviating from the usual format get my CV discarded)?
not sure about interns, but they did for full timers

your CV is honestly pretty good. but i'd switch back to conventional order. and also probably some bullets to explain the gap between 2020-2022
HUGE caveat: its going to be extremely difficult to break in from a non-target uni. still apply nonetheless, but i'd advise having backup options.
I fell very ill for much of 2021 and 2022 (which explains the gap) and I spent much of that time expanding my technical knowledge base in finance (although I did not have money to take the CFA exam back then). The work experience that ended in 2020 actually lasted into the first 5 weeks of 2021, but I was worried that having an experience longer than 1 year could count against me in a summer internship. Please tell me your opinion about that – do you think I should extend the length of that experience into 2021 in order to mitigate the visible gap (background checking can validate any of the two alternative ending dates)? Or is it safer to keep the experience to 1 year in order not to be perceived as "too experienced" for a summer analyst role?
How do you suggest I explain the illness-induced gap on my CV? Do I keep the explanation to the cover letter instead? Is it true that employment gaps in summer analyst applications do not matter as much (which why I don't typically explain it in cover letters).
Also, for the awards section which mentions the awards that I obtained outside campus, do I label that section as "OTHER AWARDS" or simply "AWARDS"¿
