navigating Canadian IB - help

i live in a town outside toronto and I really want to do banking. thought id post to get some advice. I had another account but it was hacked or something.Im in 2nd year at rotman (uoft) and I did an internship at a search fund last summer and have something at a boutique this summer. I thought Id be ahead with that but it seems like that isn't the case (so many people have this and sometimes even more). does anyone have any advice for me - was thinking of taking the year to do some coops so I can try to reconvene for US recruiting again as it seems to have gone by crazy fast (not sure if this is frowned upon).if anyone has come from rotman and done something in the states id really appreciate a hand

I go to a Canadian school as well (Ivey/Queens) and I know people at my school have done this in the past to get a second shot at US recruiting. It's definitely possible but you'll have to have a good reason for why you're taking extra time just in case you get asked about it. For the people that have done this in the past, many ended up doing a full year internship and some end up doing a second degree/minor to justify that extra year.
