1st Yr Analyst Hiring

Is it possible to apply to Full Time analyst programs after one year of industry work?

I currently work in treasury at one of the BB's, and would like to make the switch to IBD as a first year analyst after this year... Is it even possible?? I went to a strong semi-target, but was unable to devote recuriting season last year to job hunting (personal reasons), so I ended up taking the first job I can find in winter. I have a fairly strong resume (consulting and real estate experience), but not many real contacts at the banks. What should I do? Apply online? Some help please!!

ThankS

I'm not in the profession yet, so I'm not exactly sure if I can provide as good of information as some of the bankers on the board...

BUT

I see no reason why it wouldnt be possible. Try going to the HR dept. where you're at now, tell them about your situation, and hope that you make a good impression.

its going to be hard if you just apply online. The firm may have an internal website that you could apply through, but your best bet still would be to make some contacts and see which group has a need...
