2009 Starting Salary/ Bonuses

Now that most 1st year analysts have received their bonuses, lets recap on the year! What were starting salaries/ bonuses in 2009?

So far, I've heard of
Citadel (Trading): 100K base + 20K signing + 9K relocation + 40 K bonus
Citi (S&T): 70 K base + 10k bonus

That's all I know of........

What do you mean 2009 new hires? FT Analysts starting in 2010 or the 2009 class who were already paid?

Jack: They’re all former investment bankers who were laid off from that economic crisis that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have zero real world skills, but God they work hard. -30 Rock

IntoFinance: you do realize that most Bulge Bracket firms whose analyst started in july of 2009, will NOT pay a bonus until the following summer (July 2010). The 12-month trailing figure.

The most they can give u is a year end "stub" bonus

So if you see anyone put up 45k for example, as a year end bonus for 2009 analyst BB bonuses, they are lying simply because:

a) the stub bonus cannot be that high for 4-5 months of work (most analysts dont get on the desk till august-september)

b) the full year bonus isnt paid till summer

CD~

I think there was a recent thread on this and it was around 15-25k for the Stub for 2009.
