2019 Bank of America Elevate Diversity Forum

Hi monkeys,

I applied to BoA's Banking, Markets & IM Diversity & Inclusion Forum in NYC (4/10/19-4/11/19) in early February. A couple days after I submitted my application, I received an invitation to submit a HireVue application. I figured that was a good sign, so I went ahead a submitted it. It's been a couple months now since I submitted and I haven't heard back from them yet. Has anyone that applied been accepted yet?

WesternFront:
I received my invite a while ago, so I'd say you're dinged at this point. Plenty of other sophomore events to attend though!

Congrats! Which one are you going to? I think there were about 5 different options. Also, I checked the status of my application earlier and it said they were still reviewing my application. Wouldn't they tell me if I was dinged?

WesternFront:
Previous programs that I wound up not being admitted to had my status as "under review" long after they had sent out all invites, which is why I suggested that you probably didn't get it. I'm going for banking.

To add on to this, I got my formal "rejection" from one of the BB's 10 months after the application deadline, which was 8 months after the event happened. A lot of banks will just leave you "under review" or other similar verbiage until the posting for that requisition gets completely shut down. I saw people post that they got invites to some BOFA spring event a few weeks ago so it's likely you haven't been selected... It's only the beginning of SA20 recruiting so don't sweat it and GL friend
