2019 MM SA Offer- Accept Now or Continue?
Was fortunate enough to get an early offer at a top MM (HW, William Blair, Jefferies). However, I have a network at BBs that do not recruit until later (July & August) for non-targets such as myself. This top MM offer explodes in 1-2 weeks. What should I do? Take this offer and don't look back on the off-chance I would've ended up at a BB? Really frustrated at how spread out this year's process is.
If you're from a non-target, I'd say take the offer and run with it. It's no guarantee that you will get an offer at a BB and offers can be hard to come by from a non-target. Keep up with your contacts at the BBs so you can try and lateral for FT if you don't like your current bank
Take the offer. Don't be stupid, you already had an uphill battle to get an offer in the first place coming from a non-target, for all you know you wouldn't even get interviews at any BB
