2020 Summer internship

Hey Guys,

Hoping the WSO community can give me advice on how to secure an internship for next summer (2020).

I'm a rising junior at a top ten school with ~ 3.55 gpa. However, I am a transfer and had a 3.8 gpa at my previous school.

Haven't done much networking in the past. In the past, I had been mainly focused on starting and running businesses, but I'm hoping to dip my feet in the finance world next summer.

I'm assuming just filling out applications online is not sufficient enough to get an internship, so any advice would be great.

Am I too late in the process?

In terms of ec's, I'm on the practice squad of a varsity athletic program (D1). Not sure if I can leverage that at all.

Thanks in advance
