26 Too Late to break into Finance? Toronto/Canada Edition
Currently 26 years old in Toronto with two search fund and one smaller PE internship under my belt from university days, didn't have the best GPA but still managed to finesse my way through the interviews. I was in a car accident during my 3rd year and had to extend my university grad date to an extra 2 years.
Graduated with a BA in Poli Sci Minor in Econ. Currently working from home for a large insurance provider in customer relations in Toronto. I wanted to gauge others opinion on what would be the most efficient use of time to get into IB or PE, I work 8-4 daily mon-fri and have time after work to devote to either studying for GRE for a MSF, CFA, CBV or some other course of action to get me closer to my goal.
What do you think is the most efficient way to allocate my time? any input is very much appreciated!
Hey,
I’m not here to tell you what to do. But just here to tell you that it’s never late to reach and accomplish your goals.
Stay in the mindset of: when I want, I can.
That’s my best advice.
Appreciate that, giving up is not an option figured even if I die trying I died trying to achieve my goals which I think is a life worth living, just trying to figure out how to best allocate my time to get in their asap and learn!
