2.8 undergrad and 3.8 masters... any chance?
I'm currently looking to get into a top 10 MBA program. I had a 2.8 GPA in my undergrad and a 3.8 gpa in my masters program. The main reasoning for the 2.8 GPA was an undiagnosed medical issue, which has been treated after graduating.
I'm not trying to use this as a crutch because the treatment DID work and I improved my GPA a ton. I'm just wondering now- if I scored about a 720 on my GMAT, what would my chances be getting into a top 10? I'm not even sure if its worth it with the 2.8 and if I can leave the past behind me. I also have great work experience, but you never know.
Any opinions or experiences/stories would be cool.

Random Name,
Given your GMAT and masters GPA, especially if it was at a rigorous program, I think you do have a shot in the "greater top 10" bschools. It will really depend on your "great work experience."
Can you show leadership, impact, contribution. Can you demonstrate a solid reason for wanting to attend School X? If yes, then you have a chance. If no, then that GPA will be very hard to over come.
