3.6 from a Target?

Where does a 3.6 from a target (HYP level) put me in terms of IB recruiting for summer 2018? I'm a rising junior, and am thinking of taking online summer courses from my university in addition to interning, to boost my GPA. It's exactly a 3.59 now, and with an A in an online summer course, it'll be 3.62, and with another A, it'll be 3.64. Is it worth it, or is a 3.6 fine?

Nickel and "dime-ing" your gpa isn't really worth it in the long run. A 3.59, 3.62, 3.64 all have one thing in common: they are all a 3.6 with honest rounding. Focus on networking and preparing for interviews, save yourself a thousand dollars while you're at it.

3.6 is a great GPA even at a non-target, at the HYP level it almost guarantees you a gig if you're able to (like other posters said) network and put yourself in the right situations / interviews.

On a side note, your online course would count towards your GPA? that's pretty awesome / enviable.
