4 Months to kill - What to do

Sup monkeys, so I have a dilemma and I'd like your suggestions on what I could do.

I used to work in NYC, but live outside the city. Due to circumstances that I will be keeping private (hopefully you'll respect that), I left my job in finance. Now I'm out of a job, but I don't want to move back home. I've settled into my lifestyle here in NY and don't really want to leave everything behind and start all over.

I've been networking like crazy to land a finance job. I've gotten quite a few replies back from alumnus and starting the process of getting my name out there, my resume out there. If that doesn't work, I will have no choice but to move back home at the end of August as I will be going back to B-school, but won't be able to do so for another year and half since I missed this years deadline, and just staying around the city until then is pretty DAMN expensive.

SO, I basically have 4/5 months to find a way to help me stay afloat around the city while I continue to aggressively network and find my way into the finance industry once again. Any ideas, what I could do to earn some extra cash for rent, and basic necessities.

Please keep it realistic.

Okay, prostitution is out of the question, so is stripping. Masturbation does not solve my problem, but thanks for trying. I thought about bartending, but I've never done that before, there's a new place that opened up by me so I could give that a try. Poker seems like a good idea. Anyone else with a decent idea?

JShred:
Poker seems like a good idea.

Remember, a pre-flop 3bet out of position probably means aces or kings. Remember, in a full ring game with lots of nits and fish, a post-flop shove probably means he thinks he has the nuts. Remember, betting/raising is generally better than calling because calling only has pot equity but betting/raising has pot equity and fold equity, unless your opponent is a calling station. Play all pairs, any two broadway cards, and medium/high suited connectors. Also any A-x if you're feeling like a wild man.

You're welcome. Go forth brave one and play some cards.

My drinkin' problem left today, she packed up all her bags and walked away.
