4.0 grad from Harvard, now working at blockbuster video

Wow. I know the economy was rough in 2008, but this is just ridiculous. She's going to pepperdine law school this upcoming fall; with her grades, she could've gotten into harvard law, assuming her LSAT score was remotely decent. I guess a psychology degree at Harvard doesn't amount to much these days.

Why the hell is she going to Pepperdine with a 4.0 from harvard......

I'm going to agree with one of the youtube comments... Why the hell is there a 2 minute segment on the local news about this? Not enough traffic accidents or something? Couldn't fill time with another cooking segment? Maybe some playful flirty banter between the decent looking anchor and the weatherman?

On a serious note though, it wouldn't surprise me at all if someone at the station just misinterpreted something or manipulated a few facts and that's how it led to this girl getting a 4.0 from Harvard.

OK, here's a thought. Maybe she's just tired of the East Coast?! The East Coast can get very TIRING to say the least if you're not "from" there and used to it. I'm not talking about the weather and the winter snow. I'm talking about the people and the way they treat each other and you. I passed on Harvard because I don't like the Boston area and before you remind me that it's in Cambridge, let me just say that it's a Greater Boston/Massachusetts thing. Of course, New Haven was nothing to write home about either, and neither is the rest of the East Coast, at least what I've seen of it, not when you're from "out West" where life is just different.

Stanford? USC? UCLA? Chicago? Northwestern? Also love the callout above on how you slipped Yale into this... Yale sucks anyways.

All i know is that if I were going to Harvard on either my own money or my parents money, I'd fuckin make sure I was working my ass off besides that fact that I would regret wasting the last 8 years of my life studying every night. I bet this makes anyone who didnt get into Harvard pissed as shit.
