First of all Warwick is a target. There's a HUGE difference between being at Warwick and being at St. Andrews. Second of all apply and see, no harm in trying! At worst you land an internship and either have to do a Master's or intern at other places for the year until you can start working FT.

AM and WM are two totally completely career paths and I think you should understand that. Success in WM is based on sales skills/relationship management & consistency. What drives success in AM is moreso based on your ability to drive returns and add value to a pod/team.

Why do you want to do AM at a BB specifically? It is far better to do AM at an actual asset manager like Blackrock, Wellington or Fidelity Intl. With your experience, you should be okay (I'm guessing you go to Durham) but I'd consider applying for summers where you can too because FT AM seats (that aren't from converted summers) are few and far between. This year BlackRock opened their FT applications and blanket rejected the entire cohort because they're full from converted summers.

Im assuming I won’t qualify for a decent number of SAs but I’ll do that where I can. Would the timeline on that be 2022 SA then 2023 FT start, or would they ever let you go full time right after the SA?
