How to assess HF roles that recruiters offer, when there is little to no info on them online?
I talked to one of the main recruiters the other day and they offered ~6 roles. I recognized two names but the rest I have never heard of. They all seem to have good AUM / IP, fit the strategy I want, etc., but how am I supposed to verify these are high quality roles with a good PM I can learn from through solid apprenticeship and fair compensation?
If the answer is "take the interview", well, what if I don't like them? I'm worried because - if I think it's not a good fit, then maybe I've burned the bridge with the recruiter. Is that true for HF recruiting? I did that once with PE recruiting and that recruiter never talked to me again.
It's a bit of a Catch-22. Not sure how to go about this.
Thanks!
