A couple GPA questions?

I am currently a Senior in undergraduate college. I had a 2.787 GPA in undergrad at the beginning of this school year. I interviewed for a couple analyst positions this past semester and said that I had a 2.800 GPA. I ended up getting an offer with a BB a couple weeks later. I have one Semester left of undergrad, then I am done.

I've done the drug test already, but they still need to do a background check on me. Do you think the company can find out that I gave myself +0.013 of a boost? If they do, do you think they will rescind my offer?

Another question I had was if my GPA after this Semester went down 0.015, will that generate any conflicts with my contingent offer?

Haha, sorry but I'm not. I've been reading up on many other posts here and other forums and the consensus I am getting is that it is not wise to lie about GPA even in the slightest bit. The reason I ended up in this situation, was because by looking at my university's online career interface, it listed my GPA as a 2.8. However, after the interview, I received my transcript and I saw that it was indeed a 2.787. I guess the career interface rounded up. I was just concerned because of this.

how shitty did you do in school to get a 2.787
I think the number itself shows you how shitty I did. At this point, I'm passed the low GPA blues. If I could rewind time I would've told my interviewers my accurate GPA and not the rounded.
Y2A:
Even better question is how the fuck did you get a BB offer with a 2.8
Turns out, GPA wasn't the only criteria they judged me on. I guess my list of work experience helped and the fact that I seemed correspondingly proficient with their position qualifications all played a big part.

Just for my sanity, are you talking about an investment banking analyst role, or something else entirely (Maybe Ops?)? If IBD, then how the heck did you get an interview?

Lol. It seems as if most people are more concerned about what type of position I got than my initial question. It is just a Business Analyst position at a BB.

Oh, ok. Either way, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. It wasn't really your fault, and many people round with much more ridiculous boosts (Like close to .1 of a boost lol) so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
