A Couple Questions
I have a couple situations that I would like some advice on.
-
I interviewed for an endowment management company (fund-to-fund basically) and thought it went pretty well. I sent a follow-up e-mail and heard back the same day with about a paragraph worth of feedback and saying he agreed with my investment ideas, etc. He then said they would be in touch about the next steps. This was about a week and a half ago, and I still haven't heard. Can I do a follow up e-mail? I am somewhat friendly with one of the recruiters, and know an analyst (not involved in recruiting) there pretty well/better than the recruiter. Should I try and contact them to see what's up and if so which one? I don't want to come off as desperate, but they are basically my first choice.

I interviewed for ER at a BB and got a super day. But the Super Day is for the end of February (three weeks after the regular interviews). Is it strange to have it so late? Does it put me at a disadvantage to be that late in the process? I know other parts of the firms have Super Days much earlier. Just wondering if it actually means anything...
This is all for summer internships, btw.
Thanks in advance for any help.
