A2A Timing & Comp Ramp?
Been hearing a lot of different A2A promote and comp structures and would love to get a general sense of what the base progression looks like. Have heard the following;
UBS - 2.5 yr promote / bump to 150, 3.5 yr bump to 175
BAML - 2 yr promote / bump to 150, 3 yr bump to 175 (?)
Have heard a lot of EBs stick with the 3 yr promote / bump to 150 and base is constant at 4 yr - so I presume it's made up in bonus?
Any color from you guys would be helpful!
BAML also includes a $50k signing bonus (at least in my group)
What about Barclays? Did they do away with their A2A signing bonus?
My bank is a 2 year promote and bump to 150 as well. 50 signing with 1 full year clawback. first year bonus is stubbed (historically has been around 50k midway through first-year) so all-in comp ends up being $250k summer-over-summer
Interested to hear about Jefferies
JEF.
Typically 2 years to ASO in product group / 3 years in coverage group.
$40K sign on. $150k base for 1.5 years; $175k for AS2; $200k for AS3
