About These Year End Bonuses: When Does A First-Year Analyst Get His First Bonus?
Just signed my official offer letter to end the recruitment process (thank Christ). In my letter it laid out base salary, target bonus % and sign-on bonus and it was specified that the sign-on bonus is paid out with the first pay check. However, It is my understanding that yearly bonuses are generally paid out over the holiday season - does this mean that my first yearly bonus will actually be received 15 or 16 months into my tenure?
I appreciate any answers. I'll be working at a Mid-Sized REPE shop so if anyone has any questions about the recruiting process or otherwise that I can help them out with feel free to ask away.
My bonus is structured similarly. Awaiting responses
You should get a stub bonus.
When do 1st year Analysts get their bonus? (Originally Posted: 01/23/2014)
We all started in July.. I havent had a formal review yet, so definitely no disucssion about compensation yet. When can I expcet it?
Most banks pay about a year after you start in July or August. GS and MS pay a stub about six months in, a year end bonus the next dec/jan and then another stub when you leave.
Are GS & MS the only BBs that pay stub?
