Acquisition Analyst Salary
What is the typical real estate acquisitions analyst base salary in Los Angeles? I heard of people in New York making $120,000+ in this position. Just wondering what is market over here, and what to counteroffer if a company offers lower than your expectation (say, $75,000)? Would it help if I were to get a master's degree in real estate?
Hi mo646, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)

I don’t think most first year analysts in New York are making this as a salary, that sounds more like Base + Bonus which would make more sense. Find out if there is a bonus component to the role and judge the compensation after hearing that.
Coming in late, but I think around $110-130k is a reasonable request depending on experience, with bonuses to earn up to $150k. If you are straight out of college, expect lower base salary (~$80k or so) with slightly higher bonus to bring all in comp to $100-120k. Just my perspective.
