Acquisitions
Suppose i'm reading up on a possible acquisition of company A by company B. Company A is trading at $40 and an acquisition deal has been announced. The deal closes in six months at $45 per share and I currently long 100 shares of company A.
Assuming the deal doesn't happen, what can I expect my spot price to be six months from now?
