Adding College Alumni in Banking on Facebook (After Meeting)

I'm in the IB recruitment process and spoke with some pretty chill college alumni who encouraged me to sync up on Facebook and talk through there. Thought I would start an interesting discussion about upsides and downsides of social media connections.

If anything they're probably just trying get another read on you (my fraternity usually did something like this if we were getting a weird vibe). Seriously doubt they actually want to stay in touch over social media like Facebook. Besides, at this point pretty much every company has that stuff blocked at this point. I'd let it go and stay in touch through normal channels
