Admitting You Lied about Cancer

spacejam22 just created a posting saying :

spacejam22:
I've been telling interviewers i have a low GPA because i had cancer and recovered even though i never had cancer; I know its not the most ethical thing but I don't have too many other options. Will this appear in a background check and would they go through my medical history to verify? Thanks

If so, this is crazy. This is worse than jeffrey chiang. spacejam22 also wrote in another posting:

spacejam22:
Applying to top firms for SA, looking to work in M&A; I worked at a boutique wealth management firm and have a 3.37 GPA from Columbia level target university. I havent spoken to much alumni but I am in a fraternity (3 hours a week) and a member of the investment club (talk about stocks/bonds/trading 2 hours a week); I know its competitive so want to spread a wide net. Is this a good list?

Reaches/Low chance of getting in: Goldman, Morgan Stanley, Lazard
Matches/50-50 get in: JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, smaller good firms like Greehill&CO and Evercore
Safeties/Great chance get in: Citigroup, Deutsche, RBC Capital Markets
Will also apply to smaller firms like Jefferies, Macquarie but that's my main list

Ridiculous... both posts are jokes? then why post..

I vote for a BAN

I feel banning doesn't really solve anything, although spacejam22 has yet to be funny. I remember when markkleinMD was baned, then there was an outpouring of rage against Patrick for doing it, then he was unbanned, now he doesn't post anymore.

Spacejam has yet to contribute anything but I don't feel that he specifically detracts from the site with the frequency and quality of his posts. Overall he posts less trolls than normal posts and posts trolls so infrequently that it honestly doesn't matter.

Reality hits you hard, bro...

He just is a troll sometimes and sometimes has real commentsl, some are interesting...but most are just pathetic, such as

[quote=spacejam22i know everyone says its ok to round a 3.56 to a 3.6 or whaterver - is it ok to round a 3.1 GPA to a 3.6 ?[/quote]

Reality hits you hard, bro...

I visit a sports website, the-mainboard.com, and when trolls/douchebags do something REALLY low, they get a full-service treatment. I think we should start using some of their practices, we just need cooperation from the Mods. The funny trolls don't get f-ed with.

One kid on that site did some really stupid shit, and by revealing some information, was forced to take a pic of himself with a username's handle written in permanent marker on his forehead, wearing his sister's bra as a hat. Needless to say, that set an example for the rest of the d-bags. And it was hilarious.

Cancer? Even if you were lying about lying, wtf is the point? It's not funny.

The post was a bit much so I deleted the original. Banning him really wont work, but things such as this should be ignored or eliminated.

This is either A) a sad sense of humor or B) real and horrible display of depravity. Either way posts like this take away from the site.
