Advice I probably know the answer too

I have a sorta baseball sized tattoo on my torso and some smaller ones on my delt on the same side. They are from a while ago when I was young and not visible unless I'm topless so I've never had issues. Recently I found out some MD's from IB's in my city have started going to the swimming pool I regularly (as much as regularly is possible) go to for exercise (an Olympic 60m pool). It's had a revamp as an upmarket pool and gym so attracted these sorta old dudes who like to pay too much to pretend they're fit. I figure they'll not be there in the wird hours I go and if I just stop going on weekends I and my tats shouldnt be seen by anyone.

Question is do I stop going and find somewhere else even though it would be less convenient ant this place is great cause I keep my memeber prices from before refurbishment but use all the flash new stuff?

I know the prudent thing is to not go and that's probably what I'll end up doing but wanted to get some feedback anyway. I mean its hardly unprofessional when it isn't at all obvious when I'm dressed. Do you think anybody would really care? The tats arent at all vulgar or of any obvious symbolism they are very abstract in look and personal. As far as I'm concerned I don't care if you go home and put a dress on as long as you don't have glitter on your face at work.

IMO this won't be an issue for you actually. IF you're there at the same time as them, the only way they'll remember you is if you have some in-depth conversations with them. I would actually use this as a networking opportunity; the tattoos you describe shouldn't be "turnoffs" for 99% of MDs.

Plus, unless you're in NYC, ideally they won't be people you'll ever be working for anyways (unless you want to stay in your city).

Probably depends to some degree on what those MDs are like, but generally I don't think most people would care. If anything, it could end up being a pretty cool conversation starter with some of those guys

I wouldn't change your routine. As you mentioned, it's totally covered up at work.
