Why throw MS? I scoured old threads to make sure this wasn't a specific issue already covered. WSO pls.

I didn't throw it, but I imagine that you got MSed because of how insane your post is. The background check only serves one purpose: to check whether or not you were honest in your resume and application. If you did not lie, you're fine.

 

Enough to put me at ease a little. I was mostly concerned that the 'expected 3.7-4.0' would flag due to extremely sub-par grades in previous years. I figured they'd look into it, then HR gets involved and it's suddenly a mess I have to deal with. Thanks for the reply.

Do you have a GPA in that range? If so, your previous grades really do not matter.
