Advice regarding interview with F200 corporation
Hey guys,
I have an interview coming up, and could really use some advice beforehand on preparation. I've struck out with interviews for summer internships thus far and am really hoping this one works out. It is a Fortune 200 company and the role is basically a finance intern working under the director of FP&A and collaborating with the marketing department. I have interviewed with them for another position recently, and the CFO reached out to, presenting this opportunity which he thought would be a better fit for me. One of the preferred requirements is knowledge of SAP which I do not have and I am wondering if there is anyway to familiarize myself with it. Below is the job description, so any advice regarding preparation would be greatly appreciated as I'm currently in the middle of finals week.
- Leading monthly spending reviews with Marketing and insuring accruals are accurate
- Creating purchase orders, setting up new vendors and helping to facilitate payments to vendors by working with Purchase-to-Payments and the Order-to-Cash group
- Gaining experience with Anaplan, a cloud-based planning and performance management platform
- Gaining experience with SAP enterprise software including drilling into spending and process journal entries
- Ad-hoc project or analysis and reporting work
- Supporting field marketing measurement and tracking, sample distribution and management
- Creating and maintaining weekly consumption tracking reports using Nielsen and Spins data to draw insights for the marketing team to leverage
Thank you very much in advance!
