Afraid of getting stuck at my current shitty bank
I'm honestly afraid. Working in the HK market, not US or UK.
Bank has a big brand name but that's about it. All downsides and no upside. Just hit my 1-year mark and been reaching out to some HHs.
Only completed 1 interview process for a big balance sheet bank (HSBC/Mizuho/BNP) and not heard back yet after 2+ weeks. I know, I should be more patient.
Meanwhile, I'm honestly afraid of getting stuck here in this incapable team and its bureaucratic, toxic environment.
I try to stay sane, but it sometimes gets to me.
