Wait another 2 weeks, then send a follow-up email.
Most people are just busy, don't take it personal.
Follow up in a week or so. I think it helps to start the follow up with something you talked about (basically so they can remember who you were and when they talked to you.) Example: during bowl season when speaking to a Stanford alum I mentioned their Rose Bowl win in the follow up email because we talked about the game a couple weeks prior.
It's already been a week.. you could probably ping him on like Tuesday. Keep it casual, maybe mention an article you found that relates to his work (so long as this is genuinely true), and don't attempt to apply much pressure (may backfire).
