I am 27 is it too late to start IB journey ?
I am getting offers from backoffice and they say it will require 2-3 years to reach frontend .

Career Resources
There was a guy on here posting about his stumbling through life and through sheer grind finally landed a boutique job at 30. I think it depends on your tenacity. - I hope so, at least.
If you're doing this in India (fair assumption I think, from username), not hard at all. Did the exact same thing myself. 15 months in back office, and then into a mid market front end role.
Know 4-5 more people in my class alone that got into BB back offices post-MBA at the sprightly age of 28. 4 years later, they're all in PE or front end IB as SenAssocs or AVPs. Back office to front end IB is much faster (more like inevitable) if you switch within or around the 1-year mark. People actually grinding the 2-3 years to move into BB front office abroad is rarer, as far as I've seen.
