Alliance Bernstein Associate Portfolio Manager

Hi does anybody have any insight into AllianceBernstein Associate Portfolio Manager position, specifically in the NYC? How's the pay, culture, people, work, exit opportunities, etc? Any insights would be much appreciated.

I have a friend who used to work at AB. From what I understand, it's a very un-traditional Wall Street culture. More of a 9-5 type job than a Boilder Room atmoshpere. They have an established wealth management line of business, but have suffered because they really almost soley on AB products for their client portfolios (i.e. not open architechture, which is the way the industry is going). That's about all I can remember him telling me...

i interviewed there about 5 years ago. Btw, Dont let the title fool you, its an ops job. Dont know much about the role, i lost interest and stopped listening when they started talking about the job responsibilities. Their research groups are pretty good tho.

thanks guys for your somewhat helpful advice but anyone know what the in office interviews are like for the equity APM position. Just wana make sure I know exactly where to brush up
