Altair Nanotech/Delisting Question

I have an interesting question about ALTI on the NASDAQ. They will be posting Q2 earnings in 2 weeks and I don't know what is going to happen. They have failed to meet the minimum bid requirements to stay on the NASDAQ, if they're not above a dollar by next February I believe, they will be delisted from the NASDAQ, and move to OTC BB I'm assuming.

From a fundamentals stand point, they have a strong product that is a little a head of its time, they make consumer grade lithium ion car batteries. I'm a physics major and had the luxury of doing some research with a solid state physicist last semester, and it appears that from a scientific stand point, they offer one of the best products in the Market...however there isn't much of a market and they aren't hedged against Electric Cars/Electric storage never coming to fruition, i.e. they do only storage and car batteries....

They have contracts with a couple of big names like GM, and a couple of big names in the Electric Car world.

What do you expect a company like this will do as they face delisting? Will they release some news that no one expected, or will they just fall off into nothingness....have any of you had an experience with a stock facing delisting and how a company usually handles something like this?
