Cue the violins and grab some popcorn... This has all the makings of a made-for-tv Lifetime drama...

Seriously dude... Sack the hell up like HPM said... If you're this distraught over not getting one job offer, how are you gonna handle your shit when you and your wife, with whom you are expecting a kid, just moved into a house you mortgaged up to your formerly unreceded hairline, and you get laid off. As Dennis Leary says "Life's tough, get a fucking helmet!" You'll bounce back dude, setbacks are what makes the taint sweat of success taste so delicious. So in the words of Ari Gold, "This is Malibu bitch, I want you to storm that beach like it's fucking Normandy...". Now get out there and network like you're an Eastern Block transplant in need of a green card marriage and make some magic happen...

Glad we had this talk.

FT or SA? where are you at school? Are employers still coming to campus? You have lots of options this sucks, but its totally not the end of the world. Take some time and think about what you want to do other than banking, or what opportunities that are still out there than can help you transition...or punt and go to law school

wannab2011:
to clarify this is for SA.....

can I still possibly get FT

It will be more difficult buy yes. Stay in contact with people you met during the process and continue to network. Focus on finding a summer internship now that is somewhat related so there isn't a big gap on ur resume. Good luck

LOL at the title of the post.....But keep trying and get something man, if there is one thing that sucks is a gap in your resume. I would be more worried about if this was your last semester and had no offers. ive have never seen things turn out well for those who have to get the part time job at the grocery store after graduation while they search for a job.

You give me a gift? *BAM* Thank you note! You invite me somewhere? *POW* RSVP! You do me a favor? *WHAM* Favor returned! Do not test my politeness.

Study for the CFA Level I. If you pass that sucker undergrad it shows your commitment to potential employers and will help level the playing field. Recommended that you study 300 hours, which is like 7-8 weeks of 40 hour weeks of studying...sounds like a good idea for the summer.
